Whistler XTR 330

The Whistler XTR 330 radar detector is a traveling companion you won't want to leave behind. The XTR 330 features Whistler's great feature-the dual LED alert periscope. To grab your attention, two blue LEDs on top of the unit flash when you receive a new alert.

The Whistler XTR 330 is equipped with three city modes so you can make adjustments to lessen the frequency of those annoying false alerts. False alerts can come from automatic door openers and other radar-equipped devices that are common in urban areas. With the Alert Priority, you'll be sure to get the most important alert first if multiple threats are detected simultaneously.

POP radar can be undetectable by many detectors on the market today, but those pesky radar guns that law enforcement use are no challenge to the Whistler XTR 330.

The Whistler XTR 330 can detect X, K, Ka and Super Wideband Ka bands. Some radar guns used by police have an "Instant On" or "Pulse" feature. These guns don't transmit a signal until the police officer releases the radar, and he will do this only when the target is within his range. The Whistler XTR 330 can detect this type of radar, so you'll have the necessary time to slow down to pass the threat.

The XTR 330 can also detect when VG-2 is in use and this detector uses Voice Alerts to tell you in clear English that there is a threat in the area. This way your eyes are where they should be-on the road and not the detector.

This Whistler detector will run a Self Test wherein the most common messages are flashed on the display and you're given the assurance that the XTR is operating as it should.
